The day started out looking like we were going to see some follow through from the day before but that soon ended with markets turning lower on the day.

Markets were closed Monday and opened up Monday night looking like they were going to unload all the gains made from the USDA report last Thursday.

Well the USDA came out with their numbers and the trade overshot their estimates giving the market a nice bounce higher.

Markets were mostly lower on the day with only spring wheat and soybean oil actually staying in the green.

Well it’s the end of the week, markets finished Friday off mixed with corn, beans and canola higher while wheat was in the red.

The beatings will continue until morale improves!

Lots of anticipation going into the new year after Fridays rally but economic worries took hold and put heavy pressure on commodities.

Well, we made it another year!

Markets made some decent gains after the holiday weekend.

Looks like the market finished the week off with a nice Christmas rally as we head into a holiday weekend. Not much for news going on...

2 days until Christmas!

Markets have been making some gains over the last couple days as a extreme cold snap threatens the US winter wheat crop.

Only 5 days until Christmas and 11 days until we change the calendar. I don’t know about you but seems like time is flying by fast.

Only 9 days until Christmas and wheat values are holding despite the rise in the USD.

Markets were mixed, wheat started out higher but pulled back off the highs and finished lower.

Lower CPI number put inflation lower than trade estimates sending the USD lower.

Only 12 days until Christmas and wheat is looking like it wants to make a move higher.

Only 13 days until Christmas and the USDA report was a typical December report!

Well another day and things continue to get interesting. CBOT and KC wheat just cant seem to finish higher 2 days in a row while spring wheat was off doings its own thing finishing the day just off its highs but it didn’t go through the prior days high which could be a bit concerning given how the other wheats finished lower.
